2017 has been great and we’ll have a recap later on, but there’s still two months of fun left! Not all coasters have gone into rest mode yet and here are 10 parks worth visiting!

Tivoli Gardens, Denmark

Christmas in Denmark! What better place to celebrate than in Tivoli Gardens! Visit Father Christmas until December 24th at the park. This year’s Christmas is more special than ever. For the first time, not only Disneyland Park but also the Walt Disney Studios is offering Christmas entertainment. Enjoy a project mapping show on the Tower of Terror: “Goofy’s Incredible Christmas”. Fans are also enjoying the new show at the Hyperion restaurant: “Mickey’s Christmas Big Band”. Don’t miss out on a special puppet of Coco at Frontierland too. Plenty of new presents for the 25th celebration!

Mirabilandia, Italy

We included this park in the list because Mirabilandia will open its gates for the first time ever during the winter holidays. Most of the rides are open such as iSpeed and Katun! Water rides and some other selected ones are closed. As most parks, they will have an ice skating ring and loads of Christmas decorations.

Winter Efteling has become an icon in the European theme park world. Discover the many winter themed decorations or the renewed Ice Palace. Unless the weather is too cold, all rides are open except for the water rides. Winter Efteling goes through to the 31st of January! So even after the Christmas Holidays, you can still plan a visit in a probably empty park.

Liseberg, Sweden

Liseberg is also offering Christmas atmosphere at the park! Until the end of December, guests can enjoy special added rides, an ice ballet and more. There is also a treasure hunt in the Medieval village! Christmas lights and market included!

In Belgium, there is only one major theme park open: Plopsaland De Panne. Ride on the new Heidi or Anubis and enjoy the special winter parade. Warm up in Mayaland or with a hot chocolate. There are also special shows, including the classic Samson & Gert Christmas show (for an additional price).  On selected days, you can end the day with a fireworks spectacular!

Other Parks

There are still some other parks left in Europe that offer winter experiences such as Tibidabo, Chessington Worlds of Adventures, Drayton Manor, Gardaland, Toverland… Either way you celebrate, we hope you have the opportunity to pay a visit to one of these parks!
